The LJ2 chair was designed by Laurens van Wieringen, a design studio based in Amsterdam. The seat of LJ2 is made out of recycled PET from milk bottles, which is then manufactured with a 3D pressing technique. PET felt is also 100% recyclable and offers sound dampening properties. LJ2 is available in a choice of light or dark grey, whilst the tubular steel frame comes powdercoated in black or white, with the option to customise in other colours. The LJ Series was recently awarded with the title ‘Best of Best’ during the Interior Innovation Awards 2015 in Cologne.
