Selected from over 2,250 submissions, Eikon was recently honoured with a ‘Special Mention’ German Design Award 2015 for its functionality, operability, durability and aesthetics.
The Eikon shell pendant lamp consists of two essential elements: a turned wooden socket of certified ash, oak, bamboo or walnut and a removable metal shade that is attached simply and securely with the help of magnets. With only a slight grip the lampshade can be easily changed and another colour or shape can be installed to the wooden socket, meaning the interchangeable pendant can be installed in all kinds of living and working spaces. This newer model of the Eikon pendant lamp boasts even more versatility in terms of design and function, due to the option to interchange between either the ‘Basic’ or ‘Shell’ metal shades.
As well as a choice of wooden socket finishes, you can choose your shade in mint, white or black, as well as a choice of contrasting textile cable colours including coral orange, basic white, ice blue, light yellow and smooth creme.
